2026 SPARK Host Institution Application

SPARK collaborates with U.S. colleges and universities to host students during the summer in-person semester. Both two- and four-year institutions provide a culturally enriching experience for Russian students on their campuses.

During the Summer semester, host institutions are expected to enroll participants into a full course load of in-person courses as well as provide opportunities for community engagement and cultural enrichment. SPARK students take various courses in general studies, specialized subjects, and American studies courses. 

SPARK covers all expenses related to participation in the program, including tuition, housing, meals, books, airfare, and additional stipends. In addition, SPARK handles all DS-2019 and visa arrangements.
